Sahana Group of companies was established in 1998 to provide real estate and hire purchase and financing solutions to the public. Our Head Office is located in Horana, with Branches in Matugama, and Awissawella. Our operational activities have a particular focus in the western province, covering Colombo, Kalutara, and Gampaha districts.

Professor Goonatilake presently serves as the Director, Trade Capacity Building (TCB) Branch, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) based in Vienna. He has served UNIDO since 1991 and prior to joining UNIDO, he held the position of Professor of Industrial Management at the University of Kelaniya and Director- State Hardware Corporation, Sri Lanka.

Mr. Ranjan Perera - Managing Director

Mr. Perera is a veteran Marketer who has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of Real Estate, finance and property development. Mr. Perera held many positions in real estate and finance at Leading Finance Companies before joining Sahana.

Mr. Rohan Fonseka - Director/ Board Secretary

Mr. Fonseka obtained a Diploma in Computer Science (Staffordshire University, UK) and a Post-Diploma in Computing (University of Central England) and counts over 15 years experience in the area of Banking and Information Technology. He served as a Systems Engineer, in a leading Computer company(DMS-WANG) , and as a Software Systems Consultant in a leading Computer company in Bahrain for a period Six and Half years.

Mr. Rohitha Bandusena - Director/ Consultant

Mr. Bandusena holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and is a finalist of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. A veteran financial and tax expert, he counts over 15 years of experience in the fields of finance, treasury, tax planning and operations. He held positions such as, Senior Manager of Finance in Nations Leasing (Nations Trust Bank), AGM - Treasury and Operations of L B Finance PLC. Currently he is Head of Risk Management and Finance of Commercial Credit Limited.

Our Staff - Our Strength

Our staff are highly professional and well trained and have years of experience in real estate development and marketing. The company has a sound policy of building a family bond among the staff and every year the staff and families are spending a day and a half in a star class resort, playing games and inter-mingling.

The company launched its Employee Share Ownership Plan (ESOP) scheme in 2005, where company shares are allocated to company staff. This enables our staff to equally share our success and bear fruits of their efforts. Our objective is to gradually engage the senior staff in the management board positions.
